Peaceful vibe

I’ve had a wonderful few days in the shop, but I’m sadly done at the bench for the weekend. I spent about 12 hours out here today, and knowing me, I probably overdid it. I’m sure everything is going to hurt tomorrow. It’s still totally worth it (to me)! I’m very sedentary in my office job, so I’ll have plenty of time to rest and recover before heading out to the shop again.

A few weekends back, I replaced the Christmas lights along our fence. We have a tiny yard, but it still took me most of the day. I turn them on most nights from October to March, until the days start to lengthen. I like the welcoming, peaceful vibe it creates both inside the house and in our yard.
