Color on Metal #1 – Part 2
At the beginning of our second class we had a look at people’s work from last week. Some left theirs at the studio, and I brought in experiments from home.




This last one (and in the featured image) is mine. It’s ammonia and salt, with paper towel to hold some the moisture against the metal. It’s been in the container for several days. I don’t want to leave it too much longer, because my instructor’s rings (only 22 gauge) were getting eaten away after a week in the chemical bath.
