Hollywood Walk of Fame. It was cool to see the stars embedded in the sidewalk (bottom left), and walk through the arches (starting in 1939) into the theater where the red carpet is laid out and the Oscars are held!

Wishes on the Wind II. Kiyomizu-Dera Temple, Kyoto, Japan. 

Wishes in the Wind. Kyoto, Japan. Temple visitors buy these little wooden placards and write their wishes & prayers.  Eventually the they are burned, sending their wishes into the wind.
