Peace and Self-realization

Walking through the Northwestern University campus yesterday, I came across a Buddha head from the Ten Thousand Ripples project.

“the emerging Buddha image [is] a symbol of [the] search for peace and self-realization. The image of the Buddha growing out of the earth represents … the spiritual growth that we all struggle to achieve as we travel life’s path.”
