Fall treasures
I started the weekend with no clear projects in mind, so I did a little sawing of copper shapes again. I can’t believe how quickly the year has gone – the passing of the seasons is so much more noticeable in the shop, where the days are both cooler and shorter.

These little copper treasures mark the passage into Fall for me. I enjoy being able to compare them to the work I did at the beginning of the summer. My skills have come a long way – and not just the sawing. From all the online classes I’ve taken, I’ve learned about filing, and these also have a much finer finish and polish than any of the intricate sawing projects I did in the past. I’m really happy with how they turned out!
