Copper chrysanthemum

This weekend I didn’t have a project waiting for me on my bench, and I wasn’t sure what I wanted to make next. This little copper flower allowed me some time to relax and focus in the garage, and practice my sawing skills, too.

Sometimes when I first get out to the shop on the weekend, I don’t know what to do with myself. If I don’t have a project in process on my bench, I sometimes start my weekend by cleaning up my bench, or sweeping the floor. Other times, I might put new cabs away, and – while flipping through my notebooks – inspiration strikes. Or, as was the case this weekend, I start a sawing project just to get back into the swing of things.
