Clean & prep day

I didn’t metalsmith last weekend, and my shop was a bit of an explosion when I went out there today. I put some music on and cleaned up my workbench, and then I decided to prep for making a couple of Octopus Setting rings.

I didn’t even get around to turning on my pickle pot or my torch today, but I had a nice afternoon cleaning up all three bands, getting the Jett Set into them, and making the various sized jump rings I’ll need for the settings.

I recently bought a bunch of lab-created gemstones which were affordable and look so yummy. I’m looking forward to taking another crack at stone setting tomorrow – minuscule as they are, I can’t wait to work with them again!
